Thanks to continued growth, ALPA Equipment Ltd. is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and driven individual to join our Service Management Team!
Position: Product Support Specialist
Location: Head Office, Balmoral, NB
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Director of Service, the Product Support Specialist will be trained to become a technical expert on our industry-leading lines of Construction and Forestry Equipment. In this role, you’ll support our internal teams of mechanics, managers, and salespeople — helping them master the fundamentals, troubleshoot complex issues, and find creative solutions to new challenges.
This position also offers the opportunity to interact directly with customers, gathering feedback and understanding their needs, while working closely with equipment manufacturers to resolve issues and improve product performance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent education.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid business management skills to monitor and manage the financial aspects of support projects.
- Excellent communication and people skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.
- Previous experience or exposure to heavy equipment and a strong understanding of mechanical concepts.
- Hands-on mechanical skills would be considered a strong asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Bilingual (English & French) required.
