Sales Representative - Forestry Equipment I Truro

Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible to promote and sell our various equipment brands, such as Ponsse and Landrich within your assigned territory.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long term relationships with existing customers while prospecting and developing your assigned territory.
  • Schedule meetings with existing and potential customers via telephone, e-mail, or face to face.
  • Generate leads & identify new business opportunities in your assigned market.
  • Prepare customer quotes, product presentations and demos.
  • Negotiate pricing with potential customers and close sales.
  • Plan and execute customer events.
  • Continuous improvement of product knowledge.
  • Represent company at industry trade shows and events.


Education, experience, and skills required

  • High School Diploma with relevant experience
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent customer relation skills
  • Ambitious and driven personality
  • Confident and experienced negotiator
  • Relevant industry experience would be an asset
  • Well organized and self-motivated
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Travel is required
  • Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities
  • Ability to work 40 + hours per week
  • Fluent in French and English
