CSR – Customer Support Representative l Balmoral, N.B.

Under the supervision of the General Parts Manager and the Branch Manager, the CSR will be responsible for generating sales and service opportunities through a variety of techniques.  

This position requires the ability to function in a fast-evolving work environment.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Advise Equipment Salesmen of potential leads for equipment sales
  • Contact potential customers via telephone, email or face to face
  • Visit customers on worksites
  • Coordinate with Service Manager and Shop Foreman in scheduling equipment service or help in troubleshooting problems
  • Identify problems or suggest service to be performed on equipment
  • Pay attention to competitors and their activities within the industry
  • Build long term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Work closely with other departments and find opportunities to sell
  • Continuous improvement of product knowledge
  • Attend all industry trade shows and events

Requirements

Education, experience, and skills required

  • High School Diploma with relevant experience or completion of Post-Secondary Education in office administration or related field.
  • Other combinations of work/education equivalence may be considered
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Ambitious and driven personality
  • Excellent interpersonal relation skills
  • Good computer and systems knowledge
  • Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities.
  • Ability to work 40 + hours per week.
